Lettings Agents Seminar

This 2.00pm – 4.30pm session is suitable for all letting agency staff and will provide practical guidance on the longer standing obligations as well as look at recent changes and additions to obligation, including those listed below.

  • The ‘material information’ obligation under Consumer Protection Regulations
  • Handling your landlords home safety obligations
  • Obligations when advertising and canvassing
  • Getting you terms of business in order
  • Handling ‘Right to Rent’ obligations

There will also be a 12.30pm – 1.30pm lunch session, an additional session for estate agents and letting agents and it is FREE for delegates that attend the afternoon session or the morning estate agents session. This session addresses the issues below that impact on estate agents and letting agents

  • How to benefit from current Trading Standards assured advice
  • Handling a client’s cancellation rights correctly
  • Best practice steps to avoid complaints being made
  • Handling Ombudsman Audits

The session fee is £78 + VAT, places can be booked online.
